November:

Celebrating grandparents - Students are encouraged to check out a book about grandparents.  We will be reading stories about grandparents and sharing stories.

Students in first and second grade have been learning about fiction, nonfiction, and biographies and will be encouraged to check out books from all of these sections.

Students will also be getting ready for the book fair.  This year's theme is HERE'S TO OUR HEROES!  READING SAVES THE DAY.

Students in grades 7th and 8th will have the opportunity to be part of the Junior Super Hero Academy where they will help run the book fair this year.  Jobs will include decorations, presenting to classrooms, working the fair, setting up and taking down the fair.  Their ideas will be very helpful for running the fair this year.
